Ministry of Love

The Ministry of Love is the ministry which enforces loyalty or love toward Big Brother,
and therefore the Party. It enforces this loyalty through fear and re-education. It takes
part in the process of reverting people to orthodox thought and helps people use
doublethink to resolve any contradictory ideas. It handles the repression and security and
is "the place where there is no darkness" with constant illumination of the building. It
also houses the Thought Police who overview the thoughtcrime
committed by anyone. The building is heavily fortified with steel doors, hidden machine guns,
and armed guards.
It's ultimate goal: Instill love of Big Brother.

The Ministry of Love aligns the thoughts and views of everyone to the Party to maintain complete and total control over everyone.

Those who are unorthodox and commit thoughtcrime are converted and re-educated by inflicting torture and suffering to reshape them into loving Big Brother and therefore supporting the Party.
